Acceptable Use Policy
The rules for using Chatonics responsibly and lawfully.

1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out what you may and may not do when using Chatonics. It forms part of the Terms of Service.
2. You must not
- Use the Service for anything illegal, harmful, or fraudulent.
- Send spam or unsolicited bulk messages, or violate anti-spam laws.
- Harass, threaten, or abuse others, or send hateful or violent content.
- Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights.
- Upload malware, or attempt to breach, probe, or disrupt the Service.
- Scrape, reverse engineer, or misuse the Service or its data.
- Misuse AI features to generate unlawful, deceptive, or harmful content.
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
3. Messaging and channel rules
- Obtain the consents required to message your contacts.
- Comply with each channel provider's policies (for example messaging platform rules).
- Honor opt-outs and provide a clear way for customers to stop messages.
- Comply with applicable privacy and electronic-communications laws.
4. Data responsibilities
- Only upload data you are authorized to process.
- Do not store payment card numbers or other prohibited sensitive data unless expressly supported.
- Keep your knowledge base and saved content lawful and appropriate.
5. Enforcement
- We may investigate suspected violations.
- We may suspend or terminate access for violations, with notice where reasonable.
- Serious or illegal activity may be reported to the relevant authorities.
6. Reporting abuse
Report suspected abuse or violations to [abuse contact email]. We take reports seriously and will respond appropriately.
